Christmas is already over can you believe it...? It is always so sad when it comes to an end and it's time to start taking everything down and put away.
Our Christmas went good we spent it with my family this year. Christmas Eve was a little different then usual but still fun. We had a bunch of finger foods, dips, veggie trays, and a bunch of other great stuff to munch on. We went around the room and told a Christmas that was really special to us individually, of course this year is Kyler and my most special Christmas so far because we have Braxten with us. It was interesting to hear my grandma and great grandma's Christmas stories of how they hardly got anything for Christmas maybe some candy, nuts, or an orange (if they were lucky) yet those were the most special Christmas' because it was so simple and they remembered the true meaning of Christmas. My Great Grandma also bore her testimony which was so sweet and simple and truly meant a lot to me. She is 96 years old and has such a strong testimony, she is such a great example to me. We had a fun time visiting with family and then left to go help my mom wrap presents. Kaitlin my little sister, who is 4 years old, had the hardest time going to bed because she wanted to wait up for Santa. So therefore it took us forever before we could even wrap the presents. It was sure fun being there though.
Braxten didn't sleep too well Christmas Eve he was pretty stuffed up and would get frusterated when he would nurse because he couldn't breathe. Christmas morning we both woke up with a wonderful case of the Christmas cold. I felt so bad for Braxten, he was still a happy baby though. This is the first time of him getting sick so I'm very grateful. He is finally starting to feel better so I'm very happy! We went over to my families house in our pj's and opened presents. We ate a big yummy breakfast and visited and then the boys played the ps3 which took their full attention. We went home to get ready and take a nap and then went back for a wonderful meal full of delicious food, even a yummy turkey and roast cooked in the pit were added to our menu. I always love Christmas and spending time with family. Thanks to all our familes for all you do and for being apart of our lives! This year we didn't really have a lot of extra money because we are getting ready to move and have to use our money elsewhere but it was still a great Christmas...a simple Christmas as you would call it!
